Indianapolis Motor Speedway Announce Tickets For 2026 Events

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a destination venue for sports fans throughout the world, who put a trip to the world’s largest sports stadium on their “Bucket List.” Opened in 1909, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway has annually drawn some of the largest crowds in sports, especially for the legendary Indianapolis 500.

Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Doug Boles, who is also the President of IndyCar, told me that tickets sales are at a higher rate than at this time last year, as the 110th Indianapolis 500 is on pace for another sellout.

The 109th Indianapolis 500 on May 25 was the second announced sold-out crowd since the 100th Indianapolis 500 in 2016.

Penske Entertainment officials announced the crowd in excess of 330,000 fans.

Penske Entertainment owns the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Indianapolis 500 and IndyCar.

On Tuesday, October 28, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced tickets for marquee events in 2026 including the 110th Indianapolis 500presented by Gainbridge, the NASCAR Cup Series Brickyard 400 presented by PPG and theTireRack.com Battle on the Bricks IMSA Sports Car race are on sale online at IMS.com and at the IMS Ticket Office.

“Twenty-twenty-five was another unforgettable season at IMS, but it’stime to start looking forward to the 2026 schedule and preparing towelcome fans back to the Racing Capital of the World,” Boles said. “Buying now not only locks in an exciting and world class experience atIMS in 2026 but locks in the best available seats at the lowest prices.”

Indianapolis Motor Speedway 2026 Schedule

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway has 10 major events that require tickets for 2026. Those include the IndyCar Sonsio Grand Prix on Saturday, May 9 Miller Lite Carb Day on Friday, May22, Legends Day on Saturday, May 23, the 110th Indianapolis 500presented by Gainbridge on Sunday, May 24, the Indy 500 Coors LightSnake Pit on Sunday, May 24.

Also, the Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational, Saturday, June 20-Sunday,June 21, NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Pennzoil 250, Saturday,July 25, NASCAR Cup Series Brickyard 400 presented by PPG, Sunday, July 26, IMSA TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks. Friday, September 18 to Sunday, September 20 and the Intercontinental GT Indianapolis 8 Hour, Friday, October 9 to Sunday, October 11.

Indianapolis Motor Speedway Ticket Details

Customers also can purchase admission to practice, qualifications and theIndianapolis 500 public drivers’ meeting, as well as parking, camping, hospitality and public credentials (Bronze Badge, Silver Badge, garage passes, pit passes) for these events at IMS.com. Fans also can purchase infield camping for the Sonsio Grand Prix, Brickyard Weekend and the IMSA TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks.

All products are on sale at the lowest remaining prices, with increases coming in 2026. The $5 per-ticket service fee will be waived on items purchased before January 5. Kids 15 and under will continue to be admitted free in general admission locations to all 2026 racing events at IMS when accompanied by an adult general admission ticket holder.

Fans can register at IMS.com to receive ticket information for the 2026 BC39 presented by Avanti Windows & Doors and the USAC Indiana Sprint Week event. Dates for these events will be announced later.

There are many great motorsports venues around the world that have earned legendary reputations, but the Indianapolis Motor Speedway remains the biggest, and most famous on the planet.
